So Album number 6 emerges....

Part 1 of the Maze Quadrilogy and my obsession with Latin album titles continues ...

This Phrase I believe and hope roughly translates to "From Birth we die, In dying we are reborn"

Certainly this last year for me has been intense with my mom passing away - Stressful being away from my family so much and eventually everything got the better of me and I crashed hard recently ..

I am no different to anyone it is life !

This album was conceived on the last few Napalm Death US tours in bits and pieces - reflecting just how I was feeling I guess ..".stretched Like Butter over too much bread" Tolkien wrote in Lord of the Rings and that phrase makes a lot of sense to me now more than ever

Life is a weird trip and goes by too fast - I have felt like I have been living in an endless maze - obstacles I just can't break through - and having to find another way out ...only to start again ...

This albums threads its way sonically though its own maze also in a similar way..

I am getting there slowly I feel and this album continues my journey

What can I say about this song? At nearly 26 minutes long,it is a lengthy number, but takes you on a journey to some very dark places and sums up what a horrible year 2020 was. Would highly recommend it to anyone and you will not be disappointed at all. ghodis
